... I think it's maybe form 83/84, is A4 and squarebound with the Care Bears on the cover. It basically has all of Palitoys products for that year including much Action Man and AF (SAS features heavily for both), and of course the Care Bears :-D . It's in a box somewhere at my folks house, if it's particularly desirable I'll make an extra effort to locate it.

Think they do go for a fair bit. Sure I saw one last year fior sale on here can't remeber how much it went for though.

It's really the historical importance I was wondering about, but it's always nice to know if something is worth a few quid :-D .

I think it depends a lot on which catalogue you have. I collect these things and some are very common, while others are much rarer, and presumably worth more. There are others like me who collect all of this type of ephemera, but most collectors don't really care much for the catalogs, from what I have seen.

That being said, do you have a photo of it? If it's not something I already have, I would likely be interested in it, if you would be willing to sell or trade it.

There are scans of both the 1983 and 1984 catalogues here, if it helps you to identify it: http://www.bloodforthebaron.com/toys/mi ... index.html

Pages 1-10 = 1983
Pages 11-18 = 1984

Pretty sure it's not the 83 one but it could be the 84, but not 100% on that (I haven't seen it in years). I'll definitely try and hunt it out.

The 84 has Care Bears on it.

It was the last year to feature Action Man and was actually produced by the Miro-Meccano company in France, rather than Palitoy itself - possibly because a lot of work had gone into the new 84 Action Man range (which got the plug pulled on it at Toy Fair) and there was a lot of disappointment about the decision.
