Just won my first Roboskull!

Have just this minute bagged me my very first Roboskull for the princely sum of £10.50 :-D !! I don't think it is complete but it has all the guns and hatches by the look of it, and could do with a clean. Well, needless to say I'm a very happy chappy today. Yay!! Having never seen one in the plastic - not even as a kid - I am really looking forward to getting my mitts on it.

Good on yer! Never had one as a kid either, but really wanted one, still do.

I've noticed that unlike other vehicles, slightly incomplete Roboskulls are a right mixed bag regarding what's missing - you could probably pick up another incomplete one with all the bits you need for the same price or less and end up with a complete one for 20 quid in total.

(My kid keeps asking if he can get one but unless the cost of postage to Canada falls to below the Greek national debt it's not gonna happen.)

That's certainly the plan, Monkfish. From comparing the ebay pic to the archive here it looks like it is missing the booster surrounds and the 4 small red guns that go on top of the wings, but it does have the side cannons, hatches, and also the eye guns which were what I usually find are missing. I'll just have to wait and see what is there when it arrives; either way for well under £15 including postage I am a happy camper!

For some reason this is one of the vehicles that I never, ever, found on shop shelves as a kid; I don't even recall any of my friends having one either, and between us we pretty much had all bases covered :-) .

Well done - youve done better than the one currently at £87.00!

Well done mate :)
The red boosters are some of the hardest bits to aquire though.

I think that must be the one I stopped watching once it went past £40!

Great score. I got one for around that price but I am still rebuilding it.

i paid about £70 for mine not long before i joined the site.

i'd been after 1 for ages but kept gettin outbid so 1 month when i had a few quid spare i dropped a bid of £100 to make sure i won it.
(before my sniping days)

it was also mislisted as a red tank and the picture listed was from the back. it sat on about £14 for most of the night. i refreshed the page with a few seconds to go and was sure i'd won it for a pittance, went in to the missus and did a little victory dance at my bargain but when i returned to the PC and refreshed the page it had jumped to around £70.
i nearly sh*t.

only good thing was it was complete but was absolutly filthy but cleaned up really well.
its now pride of my shad collection ;-)

Never count your chickens ;-) If you hadn't done the victory dance all would have been good. My missus forgot to put the decimal point on a bid for some laptop parts (long story, her laptop) she entered $3500 instead of $35.00. She nearly died but we won it for $65 so it wasn't too bad.

i put in £99 instead of 99p once, but managed to cancel the bid because it was outside the last hour...
