So it seems that not even "The Mission that Never Was", written by Hama himself, will be in that continuity, and even tough it comes after the last Marvel issue, the latest charas from that era (cough Slice cough) will be ignored anyways.

I can't wait for this but looks like "The Mission that never was" is a very appropriate name which is a pity. I hope Hawk is in charge and blonde not brown haired and that if they do flashbacks they will use the right characters it bugs me that in #144 I think it was newer vipers were in Snake-Eyes flashback mission in borovia to rescue his sisters ex-fiance when they weren't around pre-#1 in Marvel's run.

I'm hoping that we'll see a good mixture of old & new characters thrown into the mix Not just Cobra or GIJoe but Oktober Guard,SAF & even the Red Shadows Nearly forgot about the Coil as well.

There will be no Red Shadows, Coil and SAF as Larry doesn't know anything about them and isn't carrying on DDP's ideas. In fact anything to do with DDP's storylines will have to be forgotten about as they are now unofficial continuity. The whole idea of #156 onwards is for Larry to write the story he would have done if Marvel hadn't had their licence cancelled UK GIJoe.
