Today is the 2010 Tyabb airshow, hot on the heals of the Point Cook air pageant. For plane spotters like myself an awesome day. Here's some pics from RAAF Point Cook, the young feller in the left seat of a Hercules'

Got some crakers today, Sundance. I'm aching and tired. Just bloody awesome. My son loved it, the Vampire made another appearance. There were about 10 Warbirds in mock combat. I'm just soooo knackered and sunburnt too......

You should see it doing a 600kmh barrel roll low over an airfield. Freaking awesome. I got some video of it too.

There was heaps of great stuff. A pair of Kittyhawks doing low level high speed runs, followed but the Mustangs and Spitty. What most impressed me was a display by a bird dog, spotting VC for a pair of T-28 Trojans. They had a pyrotechnics display and everything. BUT more importantly the sound of the Trojans as they started their attacking run/dive was incredible. The finished it of evac troops in a Iroquois.

A great day for such a small independent, fan run, airfield. :-) Of course Point cook's highlight was the Sabre display. Only one left flight worthy in Oz I think.
