Blood for the Baron!

With the help of a dedicated volunteer the process of bringing this classic military vehicle back to parade ground condition begins: The fist phase of the clean up is to carefully remove & place the smaller parts & items into safe storage: The battlefield veteran is then driven into the garage for the body work to receive a thorough clean: After donning the necessary protective clothing, high pressure compressed air is used to blow away decades worth of dust & grime: Then this old soldier is treated to a luxurious wash & brush up, using the latest in specialist cleaning products (Mild Green, Fairy Liquid): Once the treatment to the body work is complete it's time to start on the small, yet vital, items such as instrumentation: Meticulous attention is to detail is vital, with reference to original manuals & paper work helping to place the correct war time markings: A steady hand is needed when such delicate work is required: Moving onto the final stages of the overhaul now, all the loose fittings & kit that give a any Jeep its warrior type appeal are refurbished & placed in thier correct positions: Once again this proud veteran can take it's place, rightfully, as a proud representative for the many other back garden warriors that sadly didn't survive: All thanks to the mechanical genius of just one man: Cheers & thanks for looking

That's an awesome sight. love the old jeep's, there is a kitbashed UN one on AMHQ done by a local bloke. I need a jeep now.
