Parts of X-Men I where filmed in an old canadian brewery so there is nothing new there in a brewery being used.

they used a brewery to film parts of Event Horizon they found it better to get some more effective space angles as it was on the piss.

I expect when they start filming theyll pop the dog in a green suit and cso him out...

I think that dog is thinking "I hate you right now" about it's owner.
