I may need to ask a favour if someone is located near Northumberland, a rather "large" favour actually :-D PM if you could be interested in helping me with some items that need to be shipped to DK.

Yes, I did check the distance from this guy to you as it would have been a great help again but getting a Terror Drome shipped twice (first within UK and then off to DK) might raise the overall price just a little too much ;-)

Im about 2 hours from Northumberland so thats a 4 hour round trip, would probably cost more in petrol than it would in postage.

Most likely, he has offered to drive max 50 miles from his home to deliver but will charge £20 which I find fair enough. However if the shipping is £50 then there is no point in getting it moved to another location and then shipped. It was just if someone was within 10-15 mins then it would be ideal to get someone to check it for me before shipment and making sure it gets properly put into a box with wrapping etc.

I'm a little confused. He's willing to drive 50 miles, but not to post it?

That was the initial statement on the auction but as it didnt get sold he came back to me and now he is trying to get a quote from Parcelforce.com. My idea was to get a proper AF/GI person to look it through before shipment (checking parts etc) and then make sure it was packaged correctly as one cannot always rely on seller to ship it properly (has happend more frequently lately from a UK/US sellers on Ebay).

if he were to take it to the post office to post it your looking at £50+ for postage based on last time Rene and the size of it. i would suggest you contact the seller and say you would like to see some photo's pre-posted and say it was something to do with insurance,
