The first was good what puzzles me is Marvel released a series of trade paperbacks when the first film was released but not the entire Obadiah Stane story until now.

Seen the film. Good. Good Tony, good Rhodey (save for the actor not having Rhodey's mustache), good Widow, brief but good Fury, good (I mean evil ) Hammer.
But WHY DID THEY HAVE TO PUT CRIMSON DYNAMO DETAILS ON WHIPLASH? And the armor at the end. SO ALL IRON MAN FOES IN THE FILMS HAVE TO BE HIS COPIES?

no, cuz IM3 will have the Mandarin as the villain...
