he may be okay, but unable to reply since they were saying power and phone-lines are down...

hope he's okay, though.

ETA: his location says he's in Ercilla, the epicentre was Concepcion. Google Maps says that's 113 to 120 miles away. so... hopefully, he's a-ok.

it's still to close for comfort, i don't think we realise how lucky we are on the Uk.
