Don't know when it came out, but I was at Newberry Comics last night and found Action Man: Space Wars on DVD. It comes with four episodes. We came in Peace, Satellite Down, Skynap, Space Wars Sadly, there are no special features and the live action bits have been taken out, but it was only four bucks so I couldn't really complain. Thought you guys would like to know :)

Know the name of any DVD players that cover all regions? It's probably worth the money to have one so I can complete as much as much of my AM collection as possible...

Well, thanks. I don't believe I'm ready to transition to Blue Ray yet, money-wise... Heh.

well there is many regular DVDs players too that are region free but again not in stores.

also you may have to buy a PAL converter, if you dont the dvd will play but it will be in black and white, so make sure you get the PAL converter along with the REGION FREE DVD Player

the series is very good, I cant believe the in depth scope of the story that it had, for a cartoon, especially a DIC cartoon, its unheard of, sad that hasbro dropped the storyline and characters

a lot of cheaper dvd players can be (or used to be able to be) unlocked to play region free. ive had 2 or 3 and have used a remote code i got from the internet...

also havent needed an ntsc convertor to play ntsc dvds - just a compatible tv which is pretty much every near modern one - is the same true in reverse to negate the need for a pal convertor?

most new tvs in other countries will be only NTSC or pal

my new flat screen Sony Aquos Tvs here in Japan needed a converter,

funny thing 10 years ago Tvs in Japan didnt need it. they were able to play both, but with the strong ties to the US they adopted the same format with US tvs so now they cant and you need a converter sadly
