New dreadnok and vehicle

Here is a pic from the recent Toy Fair of the first new dreadnok since Burn-Out and the first new vehicle outside of a convention release. He is called Storm Rider and his bike is a Doom Cycle
They look good to me but the name Doom Cycle reminds me of Dr Doom's 1980's Secret Wars vehicle. The rider seems to be influenced by the look of a modern day biker rather than the normal look of the Dreadnoks and would probably make a good Sons of Anarchy custom.

I'll definitely be picking this one up. He looks a good addition to the Dreadnoks.

But if Storm Rider is going to be in Pursuit of Cobra (I guess), will Hasbro try to relate the Dreadnoks to the ROC version of

?

Pursuit of Cobra is supposed to be using no movie sculpts although Cobra Commander is based on the movie version and Ripcord is still black like his movie version.

Ripcord isn't in Pursuit of Cobra.
It appears that the Desert Battle Ripcord isn't in this new set.
Either...
1. It's scrapped
2. It'll be released late rwith a non actor head
3. It'll be released as a RoC figure if there's another wave before PoC starts.
I have this, and the movie version of Desert Zartan that is scrapped. Also I have Jungle Stormie who is great (but almost certainly will show up)

I went by a podcast(?) from the Toy Fair that Thundershot had hosted on here Malcolm.

Ripcord wasn't at Toyfair. He might still come out. He's on eBay the same price as he would have been in shops. It's a great figure, mind, so it should come out at some point, even if the head sculpt is tweaked.
