Games Workshop Plastic Glue?

I've got a few figs in need of a bit of TLC and super glue doesn't seem to be doing the trick so I was wondering if Games Workshop plastic glue would be better? Has anyone tried it on Joes or Action Force figures? Would it melt the plastic?

Their super glue works fine on plastic not sure about the plastic one though. I used it on this figure it has held so far.

Superglue tends to leave a white residue rash on plastics. I've found the best toy repair glue to be araldite, as it's tough as nails and retains an amount of elasticity. It's a PITA to use though.

That can be painted over if GW's glue is used Baron it happens a lot with their plastic miniatures.

I'm with the baron - firmly entrenched in the araldite camp. Yeah, it's messy to mix, but it's spot on for toys, and can even be painted nicely, so a tiny bit here and there can ooth out imperfections.
I've ruined many a figure with "super" glue running and then going White, and many an hour priding my fingers apart with a spoon and then sandpapering off the top layer of skin so I can touch things again!

Araldite = 2 part epoxy resin, yes?
I think GW do their own version of that, and I saw some in Poundland today

GW's isn't a 2 part glue and is less stinky so no chance of getting high on it.

Araldite is a 2 part one yes.

Acetone / nail polish remover will sort that for you!

i use locktite super glue.
dosent seem to leave white residue
only thing is it dries super fast so you have to be super careful when sticking things together.
