's funny, SFX ran a retro review thing of it recently and tehy were saying what an asshole Ninestein is when you think about it...

I watched them all recently!
Some very disturbing stuff in there, who recalls Cy-star's caesarian birth using powertools? Of the transexual mutant Goyburl? I'd forgotten!
Love Battletank.

It's been a long time since I've seen any of the shows, I must admit @ the time of original broadcast I was more of a fan of Star Fleet... but I do think that Terrahawks is a much forgotten & over looked gem that's more than due a revival, it's very much a "80's" feeling show, even if it's set in the future.
In fact, I'm also been starting to have nostalgic feelings about this show recently..but I suspect it's probably not stood the test very well of time either.
Did anyone else here enjoy the "New Captain Scarlet" series?

i loved Space Precinct and Simone Bendix was a fox!
call me a heretic if you like, but i prefered New Captain Scarlet to old. Old CS is my favourite of GA's puppet shows. closely followed by Stingray. (TB was okay, but Stingray and CS have better stories and better villains...)

Ooo - Zelda used to scare teh bejeezus out of me as a kid. As did all the Terrahawks really, but I still loved it.
So scared was I that I had to encase the entire cast in acrylic when i got older:-
(sorry pics a bit crap - flash and cases does not mix well!)

"Ooh! He's encased them in Plastic!...They should very well protected, if they survived the process that is!"
Very SteveD...just like Zelda's collection of aliens from the show, you know, when she'd go & fetch the villain of the week from her room full of cryogenically frozen monsters.

Cheers t'shot! These are some of my favourite (if a little obscure!) figs I have. I think they were only release in the uk, are are, well, pretty crap for a mid 80s figure, but it wouldn't really make sense to have really well articulated o ring figs when they are action figures of puppets! I guess they are kind of "(in)action figures"!
Love the use of skelli as c3po!
Although, damn! I forgot! I'm not talking to you!! You opened my eyes to the world of Ulysses figs, and now I'm bidding away on one! Just the one mind, just as a taster. (place your bets please ladies and gentlemen as to how long before the "taster" ceases to be a taster and becomes an "all you can eat buffet"!).

Ulysses figures?( You'll be telling us you're going to start collecting Star Fleet toys next )
Sorry that's my fault ain't it
Which one are you bidding on Steve?
I can remember when the cheap Seaside toy shops @ Great Yarmouth had bucket loads of Terrahawks figure they couldn't shift, damn if only I'd of purchased a few..the same shops were also full of , even as late as the mid 90's you could pick up boat patrols for next to nothing.
