DDP is non-canon officially.

I found out on JoeReloaded tonight in a recent Hasbro Q&A that DDP and everything they did is now an alternate GI Joe universe run. Which leaves Larry plenty of space to do what he wants with 155 1/2 onwards by IDW.

Well, everything has an upside; it means Jamar has charte blanche with Red Dawn and the other projects. Besides, the way to say it also counts; it's more respectful to say "alternate universe" than "didn't happen"

No real surprise there. Reminds me of when Marvel UK replaced Battle Action Force, it felt like a slap in the face.

Well put DA but as I said elsewhere I am first and foremost an Action Force and GI Joe fan and have read different versions of the comics and liked them all so I don't care what Hasbro say. I will always read DDP as the continuation of the Marvel run.
