Even though my politics are "give the baddies all the unaffiliated vehicles and playsets, because thay have less", I find this one more adequate for good guys like :snowjob:

I've wanted one of those for ages (just as a Star Wars thing) but those shads look great in it!

Its a nice playset thats for sure, though I have never figured out why its called an Imperial Attack Base when its clearly a static defensive position and the Empire only ever attack the Rebels at Hoth?

Keep it out of the sun though they yellow very easily.

Thanks for the tip there OBD, it was a little dirty when it 1st arrived, but after a good thorough clean with soapy water it's nice & white again...so I'll try not to let it get sunburned
I don't know why it's taken me so long to acquire one of these, I never had one as a child & was confused by the name as well...it's so obviously like the rebels Echo base it just never made sense with Stormtroopers manning it.

D.A., I agree with you there, it would look great with :arctic:, :snowjob: or any of the arctic :af: & :cobra:..this is one of them rare play sets that could fit in with just any about any 3 3/4" toy line without looking too far fetched.
In fact the sclupting of some parts reminds me of the planet Kypton from the Superman movie :-?

I really like that! Enemy flag at the North Pole too. For some reason I'm hankering for the Arctic Force that never was - AF and Enemy.

Scoobydie's X Force customs are one great part of the equation and this is another. Gonna have to hunt down some of this stuff on the bay.

I bet you've got enough snow to build a full size ice base in your backyard now Monkfish  ...apart from the odd patch of compacted ice on the road all our snow has melted now
