Battle Action Force - In Color?

You know, now that I have read quite a few of the B.A.F. strips, I'd like to see Fleetway (if they still exist), reprint these in an exclusive color format. Trade paperbacks (basically reprints of a collection of several previous stories in a comic book run) are big sellers over here in the U.S. Would they sell in the U.K. and the Republic of Ireland?

I'd buy them. I already have the G.I. Joe trade paperbacks. Incidentally, how come the G.I. Joe trade paperbacks stopped at issue number 50? Does anyone know if they will make any more?

Marvel never takes too many gambles financially. That's why they didn't include hardly any "extras" with them.

The 5 trades were great sellers, but they weren't willing to risk anymore on the market (due to the high cost of the books).

Thats a shame. I'll never be able to afford to buy the comics from ebay.
I wonder how come they were so expensive seeing as the strips were reprints?

"Supply & Demand". With the '80s Retro Phase in full swing here in the States, they knew that all the late Boomers and early Gen. Xers would pay big bucks to relive their childhood through their favorite toys and shows. This came on the heels of "G.I. Joe: Reinstated" which started the whole boom of former '80s titles!

I'm planning on getting Joe 1 - 20, what would you suggest, hunting the originals, the first 2 trades or Digest 1 - 7?

I definitely recommend the trade paperbacks. Better quality paper, no adverts, and at 10 issues per book, easy to store. They also have pictures of the cover page before each issue so you don't miss the covers either.

Getting back on topic, now that I've sufficiently cleaned up the scans, does anyone fancy having a go at colouring them?

I think any kindergarten is willing to help you out to colour your pages.
