:major: "It's time to test the new car on the Track...

...which means putting it into the hands of our very own racing driver...

...Some say, that he's a mad megalomaniac, who want's to conquer the world!...

...& that, he once killed a man for "looking @ him funny"...

...All we know is..

..... he's called Baron Iron-Stig!"

Nice model! Big fan of 1/18th scale cars! I'm itching to get mine out (oooo er!) but that'd mean putting af away.

Thanks guy's..
I can see the attraction of collecting 'em Steve, do you have many? & have you got models of any of the cars you've owned for real?

This is the 1st real 1/18th scale model car I've ever had, & am blown away with the amazing attention to detail!! It even has "real" seat belts, carpeting & even the hard top folds down just like the real thing..small items, like right down to the sun visors folding down into place...how mum found one in the exact same colour as my own car I'll never know :-?

D.A., :baron2: was kindly lent the helmet by Mr Skywalker for the photo shoot...b.t.w. do you get to see the t.v. program Top Gear in your neck of the woods?

He could of choosen a car that would spark less rumours about his sexuality though.

The detail on the car looks great! Do you know where it was bought from?

Ow come on t'shot - you know me better than that - of course I have a few! I couldn't stop at one or two! I've got, erm, several. I've got over 40! Got an old pic somewhere of them all in my cabinets in my old gaf, so will post it tomorrow when I find it. I love them though. Got one or two of cars I've got or had. Love having a mini me of cars!
Nice motor with the new mx5 too mate. Good fun car!

A bit of a shame about the image, but it's the only new sports car on the market that I could afford to buy & run on my modest income, I'd always wanted an old classic British sports car, but having no mechanical know how what so ever I'd never be able to keep one on the road, so for me it's more sense to go for a factory fresh car...Didn't like the M.G. plus the folding hard top's more practical during the winter months. Besides it's a very good car to drive & very cheap to run, just a shame about the "Hairdresser" image they picked up over the years..
