I am more and more impressed by Liev Schrieber's acting ability with each performance.

Definitely. I don't know jack about Marvel US comics so thoroughly enjoyed the film. I thought Jackman was weak in X-Men 3 so this was needed. Schreiber totally owned that role!
Did anyone catch Defiance? The WWII thing about the russian jews? It was a damn fine film.
His CSI stint was excellent as well. I had him pegged as another post-"Scream" teen tosser, but he's bloody great.

Jolie is like Sandra Bullock, Julia Roberts and Meg Ryan. they all put me off watching films. Pity really.

Dude, WTF? Jolie in the same league as the others? At least you'd never see her in fkn goddamn 'Notting Hill' snooze-fest.
Bullock was ok as random mupp in Speed. That was a long time ago tho'.

I have to weigh in on Bullock's side, her and Cameron Diaz are among the minority of american actresses who can ably do comedy.
Jolie was great in Changeling, nicely understated performance given her celebrity status.

Nah, Quicky. Speed would be pretty high up in my films never to watch again list. Couldn't stand it. Jolie as a Bond girl ripping off Ursula Andress, I mean WTF was that about? None of those actresses I've ever seen in a good film let a lone a great one. Meg Ryan still has me on the fence, only because she was in Bugsy Malone.
Cameron Diaz? Dunno, not seen enough with her in it. As far as good actors go, male I know, but I was just discussing Christopher Walken. Now there's talent. I can't think of a female US actress that would go near his abilities. And he made me like Fatboy slim
