Which version of Photoshop?

I need to buy some photo editing software today aswell as some publishing software, and was thinking of getting Photoshop for the first need, as then I could possibly join in the colouring project. I'm getting confused as to which one to get though, as price seems to range from 40 to 160 quid! Any help? Which one do you colourist chaps use??

buy the cheapest. they're not that hugely different i don't think.
