Hi gang,
Mr Tree's question about file card collectors has prompted me to dig out my box of :af: "paperwork"...

Probably the rarest piece is this "Skin Transfer" tatoo thing that came with the early Hasbro stuff, this one's Barbeque can't remember who else was available...

& also a couple of the photo's from the 1st wave :AFLogo: cut off from the H.Q. packaging, they look like prototype's...

I've even found some "Action points!" to put in it...but no idea how I picked up a U.S. Joe "Flag Point" :-?

Image Ed the green jumpsuited Helicopter Pilot I have had these figures on his cardback I also remember them being sold in Wigan's Toy & Hobby they were all that was left even though the teams and Red Shadows were being sold by then.

i've only just noticed that the Mountain Arctic figure uses the same head i used on my custom :-D

would love to have these prototype figures, gonna have to get my carded figs out tomorrow and take a close up look at these pics as the U.S Paratrooper also looks different to the final release.

I'm thinking that these must be "late" prototypes, as it was pointed out in an earlier thread, the :uspara: used a "Bespin" Luke Skywalker for it's base, & I think that the early :arctic: prototype was a converted Han Solo in Hoth outfit? Oh where's "Indiana" Tree when you need him?!

Also @ one point I must of had a carded :snowjob:, as I can recall cutting out the file card after I removing the figure from the bubble..I certainly remember that he had an extra ski pole, & was missing his rifle...this would of been around that time when Hasbro's new line was just coming out & the Palitoy figures could be picked up @ the cheaper toy shops for next to nothing.

Can't remember which thread it's in, it must of been a very old one by now..but the photo's are in the catalogue section of the :AFLogo: 1st wave toy archives.

i have started collecting vintage toy paper work
i have a 1986 kenner catalogue on its way with m.a.s.k and ewoks/droids unrelased figures in it.
i would love the palitoy one with the unreleased stuff in
