Anybody have a good match for the blue on the figures gloves and boots? Preferably humbrol but if there is a make of paint that is closer I will use it.

Will this do?

It's called Enchanted Blue from Games Workshop.

Does'nt look bright enough mate. I may have to try to mix it. Not always easy to blend enamels. I am still trying to perfect the Z force green.

If I decide on doing anymore Z Force I will use GW's Goblin Green it matched quite well when I did Quarrel.

I found the Goblin green ok for vehicles but too bright for figures, or does it dry darker? Yeah that blue is pretty close.

It depends on your undercoat humby I painted it over the green of the Scarlett figure's uniform if it has a white undercoat it can be a lot lighter.

Right then so if I was to use a dark undercoat then I should get a closer match. I am new to acrylics as I have only ever used enamels. Do you know how hard wearing the varnish is mate?

The acrylics are good fun to paint with , go on easier than enamels.
You could experiment with the undercoats, I don`t generally undercoat before I paint.
I`ve used the blue on different projects and the results do vary, the trooper above is a little darker and this a bit lighter depending on what I was painting onto.
