Who remembers Pocketeers games?

I was chatting with Eddie last night about some retro LCD games and this morning I remembered the other passion of my childhood - Pocketeers!

I have just found out that they were originally marketed by Palitoy in the UK - and there's an interesting website here http://www.masters.me.uk/pocketeers/

Even though I had quite a few LCD games (I was lucky - some of my family lived in Hong Kong so they used to send me them for Christmas) I still loved the simple pleasure of my Pocketeers :)

Those passed me by I'm afraid Annie! Cool link though!

I had the LCD games like PacMan, and then later got the bigger non pocket sized stuff like Shark Attack, the 3D Racing one and (my favourite) Firefox. I used to play for hours on Firefox and was the first kid in my school to finish it. Still got it at my Dads house, and it still works!

I had Donkey Kong and Parachute but I also had the Atari 800XL so never really took off on them. I picked up a box of crap on the side of the road last year and it had an LCD game in it as well as a shed load of C64 carts and disks. I should get some batteries for it I suppose. Parachute was heaps of fun on those long drives tho.

Can't open it in work but will try that link at home I have never heard of them either. The closest in name I remember is Monster in your Pocket which were collectable monsters you put in your pocket for some odd reason.

I still have some Monsters In My Pocket; here in Chile they came along with an album. I tended to use them as monsters for my MIghty Morphin' Power Rangers (Karnak was Goldar til I got an off¡cial Goldar fig), and used MOTU figures as their giant forms (though Voltron as Megazord still towered over them  ).
