Blood for the Baron!

It seems that any discussion on this forum ends up with somebody talking about Mutons. So, I've decided that the time has come to have a topic dedicated to Mutons.

I too thought they were crap when I was a kid. The only use I could think of for them was to overfly a group of Z force soldiers with a roboskull and drop a muton out of the bottom hatch. He would survive the fall and start killing all around him using that gun thing on the side of his head until invariably he was blown to smithereens by steeler's tank or a captured red shadow bazooka.

I fact, I don't think a Muton ever survived combat when I used them.

Did anyone else actually use them or were they always put away never to be seen again?

I love 'em, they strike terror into the hearts of their enemies.

Well, how many different ways can you kill something that is impossible to kill?

So why are they so cheap? Is it because no-one bought them back in the day or were there excess figures made?

Hey, no love for Mutons? I always thought they were rather cool and an army of them would look pretty impressive (but then I like SKELETRON too!).
I must admit that when Action Force was at it's peak in the 80's, I saw Mutons in shops everywhere!!. Often, they were the only AF figures I found on my travels. Don't know why... I guess I'm very singular in my liking for them.

I have no problem with the Mutons there the RED SHADOWs version of the Bats!

I loved the Muton, the only way he could die with me was to be driven over by my Z-Force Jeep!!!

Bought myself two for my 'neo-collection' already precisely because they're so cheap. And yes, they're the Enemy equivalent of B.A.T.'s to me too: Implaccable, emotionless and unstopabble.

I loved Muton as a child. When we played Star Wars, I brought a Muton..
But that's probably because I love historical diving and helmet diving etc.
The re paint is actually reasonably imaginative, compared to some others.
However I like to think that Muton is not entirely a robot, as it's far too humanoid. Cyborg at best..
