I'm suprised :enemy: weapons kit's aren't worth more, considering this Star Wars variant link...

:shadow: "No you can't swap it back...It's my gun now Dave!"

It reminds me when I gave the Battle Armor Skeletor figure Thunder Punch He-Man's yellow sword to match the minicomic "The Battle of Roboto" (it still didn't match; Skeletor used his "original" costume in thbe comic ;-) )

Nice work! And excellent photos as always T'shot! The Rotte Schatten looks to have hardly any paint wear to his helmet too! Want to give me him? I'm making it my mission to have more German Shadows than regular! I'm up to six, but have got quite some way to go yet!

Cheers Steve...it's a bit of a shame the shoulder badges are a bit worn, but he's my only German "exchange" figure & pride of my :shadow: army.

Hi Martin, I used to do the same sort of thing, I was always giving :laser: a bazooka, & sort of used him a a Megatron type baddie leader in my games as a kid...

pssst, he's holding the magazine of the SA-80, not the grip!

But is it an actual YPS stormtrooper though, not sure the eyes look right. Now if you just knock up the comic you'd have the set.

Nice figure ed that gun suits him whether he's holding it wrong or not. ;-)

Thanks I.B.
Nah...
He's just a normal, slightly yellow around the edges, Imperial Stormtrooper (Hoth Battle Gear) with a repro skirt & a rifle from the :enemy: weapons back...I felt like doing something a bit different with a cheap find Star Wars figure find really, & this seemed like a nice little way of connecting my Star Wars collection with my :AFLogo: one.

& Yes Sunny-boy, I know he's holding the weapon incorrectly, but from what little research I've done, most Star Wars collectors seem to display it this way...Probably cuz it's the only way the the figure's hand can grip the weapon in any sort of shooting pose as the fingers are too wide apart to grip the handle, or maybe even just out of ignorance?

& to be totally accurate it's not an SA-80 rifle anyway...the weapon is based on EM-2 rifle!

;-) :-D

very nice, T'shot. I'd been thinking of doing something similar.

Just been reading a bit about the EM-2. 1951? Holy cow that was a great design for its day and available in 30-06 too. It would have been a rip snorter. Very interesting read as I haven't really looked into the bullpup design much.

I always find it amazing how futuristic some British weapon & aircraft designs from 50's & 60's are myself Chop'..have you ever seen any of the sketch book design ideas & proposals for the V bombers? They make the Gerry Anderson Thunderbird craft designs look conservative..
