Blood for the Baron!

Just thought i'd let you all know im not gonna be around, dont want to start a panic again!
My Nan has just passed away, so im gonna be traveling back to blighty for her funeral. having a bit of a crap time, as my parents think im wasting my money & dont want to come & are giving me a hard time but i feel like i should. to top it all off ive had a huge bust up with my bloody sister & im a bit sick of family right now!
My Nan was a tough old bird, was doubled up when the ambulance came for her but refused to get in until they let her have a fag!
just got measured up for a suit & will be booking a plane ticket as soon as i know the date for her funeral so could leave any day now. so glad i was back last month & saw her!

Aw sh*t man, that's not good. Just do what you gotta do. Its been a sh*t month all round indeed. I had to do the same thing for my Granddad last month and I'm still finding it hard. To top it off my jobs on the arse and father in law has been diagnosed with stomach cancer. Makes you glad to be alive sometimes.

Its a bitch living overseas, even the 4000 Km's from here to NZ. All I can say is take care and don't forget to live. In the interim I'll keep a seat warm for you, mate.

I'm sorry to hear that about your nan, hope everything gos ok.

You have my condolences Ross take care mate. I had some bad news too last night my brother may be going to Afghanistan next year it's now been legislated if you are in the TA you will end up on Ops unless you have a valid excuse. He could end up in Southern Cyprus instead which is what we hope but because of his rank and experience in Iraq it seems more than likely he will be shipped to Afghanistan.

Anyway back to you Ross I hope everything goes ok for you and your family.

So sorry to hear it, mate. As everyone has said, don't let it drag you down - it's great that you got to see her last month.

Your parents may have a point though, it's a long way to come and a lot of money. I'm sure no-one would blame you if you didn't go.
