Blades arrived in Melbourne yesterday, I had a heap of trouble bringing myself to open the little chap up. But I did, and here's proof. HAWK number 2 (v1) should be sorted soon.....

The new one looks better the guy on the left looks asleep in his Hawk.

I'm definitely envious about this. How much does the new Blades resemble Tripwire now?
I'm thinking of possibly getting 25th Anniversary Gung-Ho,Tripwire,Scarlett and a Cobra Officer to make my own Gaucho,Blades,Quarrel and Hunter.

Seeing them side by side shows what an excellent job they've done on both the vehicle and figure; improvements and they avoided throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
Great stuff!

I bought him to work today
He's good, but the 25th articulation makes it very hard to get him into his seat. He doesn't go in easy. The only major changes are the nose gun, the seat and the control stick. While I really like him, he's no substitute for the real deal. He is a direct knock off of Tripwire from what I can see. The only other 25th figure I have is the blue Hyena commander and both have the same arms.
I won't be perusing a career in modelling tho, unless we are talking 1/72?
Here's a pic for the new section in the toy archive, Baron

That's good to know Chopper so if I get a 25th version of Tripwire I can do a close likeness to Blades.
