It was O.K, not a classic, this is the intro if I can remember corretly..it was a 1st person shot 'em up,with sort of cell shaded/ graphic novel style game grapics...you could see the as well as hear "sound effects" (say the TAP-TAP of foot steps) when the enemys weren't visible, like behind the door or just around the corner from you, or like the "Whoosh" of the rocket launcher & plane in that film.

Very novel approace to game graphics & probably worth picking up if you can find it cheap 2nd hand, I'm sure it came out on PS2 & X-Box, I had the Game Cube version, graphics wise it's hasn't dated as badly as other games that were released @ the same time.

Check out Time Splitters 2, it's a must have if you enjoy 1st person shoot em ups!

I'd never played the 1st Timesplitters game..a lot of the design team behind Goldeneye worked on the Timesplitters games after leaving Rare.

After Goldeneye & Perfect Dark the 2nd Timesplitters game is one of my all time fave games, closely followed by Halo.

It's (Timesplitters 2) easy to find & very cheap to get hold of, well worth a look & play, single players good, multiplayers a real blast, the 1st levels even set on a dam & is the closest I even been to re-living the magic I felt the 1st time I played the classic Goldeneye.

The cartoon graphic style is spot on & hasn't dated @ all, if fact I'd love to see a Star Wars Clone Wars game done in the same style, as it would be the perfect match for the animated films.

is it sad that i know that some of that music and sound FX on the second one is actually from 'Mile High Club', the epilogue mission on CoD4?

i'm a PC. i sh*t on the X-box, i stamp on the PS3 and i piss on the Wii.

first-person shooters should be illegal on games consoles. and so should RTS games.

i had the gamecube version of xiii and although i enjoyed the game the control system was a bit sh*t.

ts2 is a great laugh, some of the bonus levels were excellent although i couldnt get past 1 of the later levels.

been playing goldeneye a bit lately, forgot how hard it is on 007 level ;-)
