Yes D' the film has Nick Fury,Black Widow,Whiplash and War Machine also a good blend of action,politics and romance just like the original run of Tales of Suspense/Iron Man comics. I recommend Essential Iron Man volume 1 for more of this sort of story.

Don Cheadle doesn't look anything like Rhodey (neither the actor who portrayed him in the 1st film) but War Machine looks COOL emptying his weapons!

Terence Howard wasn't wanted back for the role of Rhodey DA so they re-cast him.

Yes, I know, but the thing I'm saying is that none of those two actors looks like Rhodey should look. The lazy producers just say "this man is african-american. He will work". In the future, they will tell a skinny boy "You are blonde. We need you for He-Man".

It's pretty cool to think though that Rhodey's look in the films is one of the few issues hardcore fans could have with John Favreau's series...specially when you think of the amount of liberties most producers/directors are taking with these sorts of films.

I mean, I dig Iron Man but I'm in no way a hardcore fan so I can't really comment, I'm just going by old-school Iron Man fans opinions, I was always more a Spiderman & Hulk kinda guy...

I like all 3 characters D' I do agree with DA about the casting of Rhodey they really need to cast a more physical looking person maybe like Terry Crews from Blame it on Chris even the look of Whiplash has been changed but going by his costumes it's just as well.

Yeah, I wasn't sure about Whiplash when I first saw the pictures but seeing him in that clip, with the whip effects creeping towards Stark looked awesome, I'm alot more confident about his character now...not sure about Scarlett Johansson though, she's attractive but I don't thing she has the right look for Black Widow

Surely a European actress would have been much more suitable and looked the part...it's not like there's a shortage of them

In fact, it's not Whiplash's design what bothers me; it's the fact that the film will make him and Crimson Dynamo one and the same. Whiplash also has an interesting story of his own!
