PJ's never done a bummer IMHO. This does look bloody good and it also looks like it isn't the kind of film that fits any any one particular mould. I'll be seeing it I think. Also hanging for the Hobbit and The Dam Busters.
it's only being produced by PJ. the director's a bloke called Neil Bloemkamp who was originally slated to direct the Halo movie until it all went tits up

Yeah, and he's also billed as the director for the Hobbit, Sundance (PJ Producing). I'm not usually convinced a film will be a winner before I've seen it, but this has all the trappings and if it is as good as I think it will be, The Hobbit is a shoe in. To top it off. I'll go out on a limb and say this could be the 21st century rival to Blade Runner or Dune. Hanging for it now.

it does look good, but i'm gonna have to wait for it to come on Sky... can't afford to go to the flicks again this month and i don't rent DVDs...
oh, yeah, it's Guillermo del Toro doing the Hobbit, innit? bloke who did the Hellboy movies...

read about this and thought it looked quite interesting but looking forward to it more now ive seen the trailer - kind of an alien nationy idea...
