Is the ongoing series on dvd yet? And where does this fit into the cartoon animated Clone Wars?

how The Clone Wars and Clone Wars fit together is rather complex from what I've heard, given that Ashoka doesn't appear in CW. also there are variances between them. some have suggested that TCW is ignoring CW...

From what I can see the 2 Clone Wars series are threaded together rather than being continuous. There are 2 DVD's of the new series out atm, don't buy them tho. GL is up to his usual tricks and the whole season will be available in November as a box set.

TCW is the best thing since ROTJ IMHO.

The only problem it has is that Anakin doesn't show any traces of turning into the Dark Side. It could have been easily done just showing him about to kill anyone of the main villains of some episodes, just to be stopped by Ahsoka, Obi-Wan, Rex or anyone else.

Still early days and not all the focus is on Anakin. I'm picking there will be an evolution and GL will want to keep this show alive for a lot more than 2 seasons.

Maybe you are right, Chopper, but I guessed that Anakin had begun to turn into the Dark Side from early in his life. Anyways, the best episodes in the series are those starring Cody, Rex or other clones.

GL wanted it to be broad coverage of the whole Star Wars Universe, so we may not see a lot of Anakins dark side either. I prefer the clone stories too, but I'd say the voice actor of Anakin does a far better job than Hayden.

Have you seen The Phantom edit or Attack of the Phantom? Much better edits imho.
