GI JOE EXTREME COMIC PREQUEL STORY

Wow... ARAH references! Sgt Slaughter, Captain Grid-Iron... I always thought the Extreme series ignored ARAH. It's nice to see they didn't.
The only thing I don't get is if Lydon is the original Grid-Iron or Grid-Iron's son (which could mean he stopped trying to steal Lady Jaye from Flint ).

you know what is really kind of cool, is the way Devils Due ended the 20 some year old original continuity begun by Marvel, it sets up the GI JOE EXTREME series PERFECTLY. so many things needed to happen and DDP did them all. I dont know if it was intentional or not but they sure set up GI JOE EXTREME to happen next quite perfectly IMVHO.

GI JOE EXTREME is definately in that continuity IMVHO

So Extreme fits after the DDP stuff. Does that mean that Red Scream's appearance in Red Dawn happens before her appearances in the Dark Horse comic? (my bro is currently downloading all Joe comics, so I'll read the Dark Horse stuff soon)

sure does, couldnt fit better IMVHO, there is some time between the two so its NOT EXACTLY two minutes after the DDP stuff but since the date is 2009 ( which could mean December 31st 2009 ) its sure got enough time.

Um, I know I'm about 4 months late on this, and maybe I'm missing something, but...

Those character names don't appear in the original comic. Everyone's left pretty generic. Does everyone else know this and I'm just missing out...?

I've still got my copies of my Extreme comics sealed in bags with my other Joe comics.Didn't they pulll this at 1 point because I only have a few issues? Anyway I started to get into this then when it was cancelled lost interest.

ya it got cancelled only 8 issues were published but plans for at least 10 were made
