I think the mantle of "Worst Movie Of The Year" has already been taken...by Transformers II

I love Transformers, I always hold out hope for movie versions of shows I grew up with and I'm a sucker for Hollywood cheese but damn, that film was a let down...a long boring one

comparing it to Showgirls? C'mon, there's a line...

Is this Charlie Jane Anders guy trying to say it's a bad movie? Because most things he said sound very promising to me (with a few exceptions, like ).

agreed, it sounds excellent. 2 hours of action, power suits, nanobots, ninjas and the Baroness. whats not to love??

Having read more of the book today I can't wait to see it the only thing is I may have to do it alone as none of my friends have heard of GI Joe and don't really remember it as Action Force.

I'm still fearing it'll be a big budget, live action "Team America", but without the irony..

You able to shed any light on his character/part in the film yet?

He isn't a biker but a mime and doesn't wear a hood at least yet anyway he also plays a part in the attack on the Pit but I don't want to spoil it too much for everyone.

Ah, doesn't sound too bad! I guess if he's in this kind of "basic" form here then he could grow into the Zartan we know and love...
