Which font colour?

It has been brought to my attention that some users have trouble viewing a white font on a black background, a problem which has been aggravated by the new
background.
Please allow a moment for the images to load. I apologise for the filesize, I need them to be maximum resolution for comparison.
Is the blue font an improvement? If so I will implement it throughout the site. Please use this thread for discusion as well as the poll.

The blue hurts my eyes I find the white one ok

White works perfectly for me, I'm having problems "seeing" the blue as clearly as the white..

Same here...after a few min's it gets a bit of a strain.

Ok, I've added a third colour - Gold.

blue is terrible, gold is ok but looks a bit tacky, the white is fine & easy to read!
