Blood for the Baron!

Anyone got any first generation Transformers for trade or sale? I don't actually collect them myself, but my friend has just decided to start collecting and Transformers appears to have won the toss. I said I would try to help get him get started.

Bad timing I know 'cos he's painfully aware that the movie franchise causes a surge in interest, but hey, no reason not to try!!

To my knowledge so far he has Galvatron, Grimlock, Snarl and Ravage. I've suggested to him that he shouldn't call himself a collector until he at least has Optimus Prime and Megatron on the shelf!

If any of you have anything at all give me a shout. I'd be willing to trade my stuff that you might want to get him started.

You meant "Optimus Prime and SOUNDWAVE", right?

Oh I just meant the two big names on either side, Autobot and Decepticon. Are Prime and Soundwave rare or something? Actually, I don't know who Soundwave is... was it the one that was a tape deck? My intention was just to forward on any offers any of you might have to my mate Rich and see what I can help with.

As you can imagine, being new to collecting toys (Rich has collected comics and graphic novels for about 25 years) he doesn't have any toys to trade, so he is buying from eBay like most of the rest of us.

I just thought there might be some Action Force / GI Joe stuff in my trades lists that you folk might want, but didn't have similar to trade, only Transformers..?

Well, for beginners, your friend already has Galvatron (who is the same guy as Megatron), but Meggy is not so important; Soundwave is always there, at the right side of each 'Con leader (be it Mega/Galvatron, Shockwave, Ratbat, Zarak or Bludgeon). That is what makes him the most important Decepticon. For a leader, your friend can get any of the previously mentioned, and he already has Galvatron.

Now, since I've talked so much, I'll make something I never thought I'd make; offer stuff (due to my low budget, I can't send it; you must find some cheap means):

I have some repeated KOs, but they are based in original G1 charas: Bonecrusher, Long Haul, Scavenger, and bigger versions of Air Raid, Fireflight, Slingshot and Skydive. I also have original G2 Mixmaster and Skydive (sans tail).

I've got an origional Optimus Prime (almost complete) for sale if your friend is interested. Also got an origional Ironside and a couple of the minibots plus some that are battle damaged.
