I have him (in LALAland we get everything released first), but I don't really know what to do with him. Did Action Man ever meet up with Action Force in the comics after Battle (I haven't read most of those)? He might just become AF's mole in GI Joe.

The Cobra troopers, however (ok I'm bragging now), are enjoying reenacting "School for Snakes" and "Revenge of the Red Shadows."

I don't have a digital camera yet, so here is my picture of that reenactment:

THe 3 3/4 " Action man is based on the line that first appeared in 1994. He has nothing to do with AF (unless your "universe" is different).

here is a link:http://www.actionman.com

Ah, I had assumed he was this man:

(I've been across the pond a while now).

Is the connection in title only (I assume Hasbro bought the name rights when Palitoy died, or had the trademark expired?), or is there any story to read to link the two?

I can't remember Action Man ever appearing in the battle action force comic. I did have a couple of Action Man annuals though, with comic strips in them. But he was a verydifferent fella to the current one, who seems to rollerblade or drive in his car with dog cannon.
There are a few people selling the Night Force pack and Cobra Infantry in the UK on ebay now, though

ya AM never showed up in the AF or BAF comics, now he did have his own comic and in 2005 he led a new ACTION FORCE team consisting of a native american Indian named Red Wolf and an australian by the name of Flynt, but that story line ended in 2006 or early 2007 and when I say 2006 and 2007 I mean the last entry was only available in Mexico where AM is very popular

now if you do look at the red dawn comic in Creativity you will see ACTION MAN ( based on the Toys r us GI JOE toy ) in the ACTION FORCE Red Dawn comic
