Maybe Kutcher was just using GI Joe as a derogatory term for the male dolls (Ken, Alan, Steven, Derek, etc... yes, I know a lot about Barbie, sue me... no, don't sue me, 'cause I'm poor). Just seeing a lot of 12'' guys thought "GI JOE".

It's just a theory. Maybe Demi DID collect Joes (I can't discard anything; my sister and I use the Barbie dolls and Action Man figures together).

Something about their collection was mentioned in Heat magazine recently

I'm sure we have all done that in our time. The girl a few doors down used to get so frustrated that AM had blue pants on. She was a mucky tart that one! I was just pissed off that Barbie couldn't hold a machine gun very well, and had no idea what she was hinting at with my naked AM!

Ashton Kutcher posted some photos of some of Demi's dolls on his Twitter feed (Twitter = waste of time, but I'm still signed up to it. I like to know what Stephen Fry's getting up to, y'know?) and they were those "real life" child dolls - really horrible and creepy

they are a bit weird those real doll things, i watched a documentary some months back about couples that buy them and treat them like real babies it was a tad strange.

Dolls can hold a weapon if you tie it to their hand with a transparent elastic band from any toy box.
