Barons German Helmet (snigger)

I was looking into the German range yesterday after my schoolboy error of thinking that they had made a Space Mechanic, and on Clemens site was reading that interestingly (well, interesting for me) the Baron has a different, smoother helmet! My German Baron came without a helmet, so i just put a regular Baron's helmet on him, as I assumed it would just be a normal one, but after reading this and checking my MOC Baron Eisenbludd when I got home it's true! The helmet simply has no detail on, and is just smooth, which I found kind of weird - why change it?? I can understand them taking off the :enemy: 's etc, but to go to the effort of manufacturing a different helmet - how bizarre!

Sorry, no picture to back up my point, as my MOC one's helmet is too far behind the figure to photograph well.

possibly just a cheaper option ?

to make the helmet with no detail it could just be stamped out of a sheet of vinyl, I have used a similar method to make gingerbread men. . . . . but not out of vinyl !

Cool Meertoh! You have one! Cheers for the pics - I've been zooming in on the ATT site, and frantically shaking my MOC one trying to move the helmet (chuckle chuckle) but to no avail. Dont suppose you want to sell it do you??? :-D

I'd go so far as to say that rubber helmet looks more sinister that the UK one.
