Saw these today:

I'm thinking it'll be too much for Johnigoe73 to resist, the lead bidder has an all-too-familiar turquoise star...

So what do we reckon? I'm thinking he'll win all three auctions and pay over £100 for the lot. Do I have any takers?

You are probably right Baron. TBH I don't even look at Shads on ebay any more. Not worth the bother. I'm just hoping he'll get over his fetish and there will be a glut of undervalued Shads in a year or two. I live in hope....

Well I can promise that he'll never get hold of any of my shadow army..
I think your right :baron: Johnigoe's gonna get 'em, I'm starting to think like Chopper & wont even consider buying :shadow: 's on ebay now, cuz this guy is just pushing the price up too high..Maybe, one day somebody will in put a stupidly high bid in, just to see how sreious Johnigoe73 really is..the 1st £100 + :shadow: anyone?
The only plus side I can see is that, if people see how much collectors are willing to pay, maybe we'll see a glutt of :shadow: 's as"normal" people & dealers try to cash in, just as we did when Star Wars became popular again.

Now come on chaps - let's not make it too easy for him! Keep bidding, to the level you are willing to pay (mine is £5 per Shadow) and at least then he's not going to get his own way! And if you bid on one and he misses it you get a Shadow for a fiver! I know it sounds stupid, but that's all I did with that batch of 9 a while ago, and I got them. I think he must've been in Ann Summers or something when the auctions finished?

I wonder what his wife/girlfirend think's of all his shadow's? My wife doesnt see the point of having more than one of each figure - god know's how i would try and explain having an army like must have.

If you rummage back through some old posts Mark you may well find that there is no Mrs JohnGIJoe. Or if there is the Shadow Army may well be the lease of her worries! ;-)

It was such a nice thread until page four. It's all SteveD's fault.

I then started using the pink frilly knickers image as my avatar, which triggered this:

Doubtless there's more...
