Do any of you bag and/or card the MAF of BAF comics?

I have the full run of MAF comics and want to bag them. Any ideas what size etc to get and any good dealers?

for battle action force you need 2000ad vintage sized. I picked mine up at comic fair, but sure you'll be able to pick some up on eBay.

Here you go: http://www.forbidden-planet.co.uk/acata ... oards.html

Yup, Battle is old-size 2000AD, Marvel UK are perfect A4 so you can always use ringbinders files and pockets if you fancy otherwise you can probably use the new-size 2000AD for those.

One thing - never use sellotape to seal your bags. If you want them closed only ever use Scotch magic tape. I personally have the flap at the bottom so that they jam shut against the next bag. I also use one bag to every three comics.

Those storage boxes are worth every penny.

You should be able to get them through ebay I expect. FP aren't the manufacturer.

In fact: http://www.collectorline.demon.co.uk/product.html

I didn't realise they do a separate Marvel UK sized bag!

Thanks!

Why not sellotape? Is it because of accidents when removing the comic?

Also, what about boards?

Yup, sellotape is fatal on comics - if it's dull paper it tears the page, if it's gloss paper it leaves sticky residue. Personally I don't use any, but if you want to seal your bags then scotch tape is the gentlest by far. I don't really see the point of boards, they take up box space. That said, from convention experience I suppose they are handy if you want to thumb through the collection.

I'm with the Baron on this one - sellotape is lethal to BAF comics! No matter how hard you try, it snags the comics on the way into or out of the bag. Best avoided!
