Hi all..
After reading the newly posted data files, it's started me thinking about the :af: :grunt: figure again..was he a generic army/troop builder for the :af:?
Or was he supposed a single character as the Joe figure was..?

Can I have more than 1 :grunt: in my collection? & if so, maybe I could start swapping heads around so the troops don't all look like clone troopers..

I have about 15 Grunts :grunt: in my collection. I see them as general infantry troops to build up the :af: army.

If you look at the comic story London in Peril - on the first page when cobra kill off the London unit - that is what convinced me!

seeing as Scooby's using Hit&Run figures as Z Force Army builders I don't see why you can't use Grunt in that way if you want.

i didn't know who he was when i was a kid (i actually mailed away for The Commander, and got him), so when I played AF, he was either a fill-in for Ripcord or he was a marty-stu character.

Grunt was a AF Trooper, he didn't have a codename. Have a look in the AF datafiles, he is just a grunt. So I'd say grab all you can. I had looked at using Breaker V3 as his colouring is very similar to BAF Grunts

Footloose would be another good army builder, if you do head swapping...

Looks a lot like the guy in the pic.
Could be cool for army building.

I always thought they were like the Z-Force Infantryman or the SAS-Force Assault trooper, and the :af: team were the troop or specialist leaders heading up a platoon of Grunts(Codename:The Scrap Yard,London in Peril).
