thought the hardrive on my macbook had gone again today, first thing i worried about was how many pages for the colouring project i'd done that hadnt been backed up!
didnt worry about work, no, just my volunteer colouring work!
had the screen replaced a week or so ago & the f#%king dick who did it didnt put the bar that holds the hard drive back in place so iT keeps slipping out & unplugging its self!
PHEW!

get an external hd is my advice

you will be saying "i wish i had backed everything up"
when you pc gets screwed up and you have to do a format!!

ive got one, but i was pretty sure i hadnt backed anything up after the 1st 5 pages!

Get a small piece of foam and place it behind the drive to stop it moving. Actually, what I use is an old AC mains power cord, pull the wire out so its flexible then cut to fit. Stronger than foam and has some bounce in it too.
