I received my moc AF Cobra Commander figure from Corey today.

The figure has the standard issue 'red laser' gun and a black 'Major Bludd' rifle.

This has got me thinking.....

We all know that the cardbacks are so unreliable when it comes to what figure came with what due to the early deadline photography requiring the use of prototypes, etc.

So, just because the CC has the one gun on the cardback, we all assume that the figure came as that.

Yet, mine today has 2 weapons.

And SteveD's has 2 weapons:

If my eyes aren't playing tricks on me, aire devon's CC has 2 weapons:

Our shiny new archive shows 2 CC moc's both with both weapons:

SO 6 Cobra Commander moc's, 6 with both the 'Red Laser' gun and the 'Major Bludd' rifle.

Hell, all the evidence says one thing. The CC came with both weapons!

Time to revise your figure lists chaps. If your CC hasn't got the Major Bludd rifle then, sorry, it ain't complete anymore....

bloody interesting post Paul. I should say though, the archive pics are of my cc. That runs the number down a bit from six, but I still agree - I've not seen one with only 1 gun. Yet.

is yours English language? I think that it may be a batch that were like that, that were left in a stockroom somewhere, and are now the moc's we've got.
Unless there's loads of loose spare major blud blasters in peoples swaps box?

Mine is english language as well Steve.

Its interesting that mine, and those in the archive, have the incorrect font on the front title.

It looks possibly Times Roman instead of the usual Rockwell.

The same as the Major Bludd that you recently picked up too.

Let me guess Lewis - the next suggestion is that as they are all fakes we need to give them to you???

Been thinking about this Paul, and in the sieve that passes for my memory I can remember before I got my Cobra Commander getting beaten in an auction for a single bubble variant. Which had two guns in with it. I have no idea who won it, it was about four years ago, before my BFTB days, but I remember then thinking it was just due to it being a single bubble one. And I have yet to see a picture of one with just one blaster in my almost 24 hours of looking.

Re the fonts - even obsessive me hadn't noticed that different fonts were used on the cards! I tend to be more obsessed with them moving the Grunt offer from one side to the other etc!
