Blood for the Baron!

ok, not finished yet but heres some preliminary pics: red lazer: red vulture: commander ironblood: i still need to add transfers to the shadow fighter & the hummers + paint the wheel hubs but wanted to get something posted!
purposefully left the eagle on red vultures chest & wanted to make red lazer stand out, as he was japanese i was trying to give him a samurai looking mask, but really liked this skull mask i'd already made! i might add a samurai looking front piece to the helmet.

Man Ross - those are sweet! Very much like them. They look like 25th Shad tributes. Particularly love the skull mask, and on first pic though it was a sculpted face, so to see it comes off as a mask is brilliant!

Thanks! thought the cobra trooper head had quite a oriental look to it so worked well as lazer! had already made the mask, my original idea was to make a renegade ex-cobra army, sick of life in cobra but decided to make shadows!
had a lot of fun making these, + they are pretty easy to get hold of so i can just keep getting hold of a few every now & then & end up with a full-blown army!
the cobra commander/commander ironblood is the 1st of 2 uniforms, + im going to make a 25th version of the original baron.

They look good. What paint did you use for the figures / vehicles?

Is the skull mask from the IJ cemetery warrior? I tried to use that for my Skeletron but went for the original head in the end...

yeah, the skull mask comes of, the chin had to be cut.
i use Tamiya paints, the dull red spray paint.
i wanted them to be a kinda dull red, not all crimson & bright!

i love the guy with the skull mask. i'm working on something similar myself but calling him RED REAPER.
