if anyone is after any recent-ish tv shows let me know, you can buy boot legs of whole shows over here & they are cheap, so if your after anything i can try to help.
also been watching a lot of robot chicken & peep show, i know these arent old shows, but also a big fan of spaced!
any chance of getting a copy of cap scarlet? was my favorite show as a kid!

Hello Eddie, as you well know in the modern era of tv I love anything with Stephen Fry in it, especially Jeeves and Wooster as it combines two of my favourite things - Mr Fry and vintage motors. As for the eighties, I don't think there are any programs I loved enough to remember them, in fact my memory is so bad I can barely recall anything on the gogglebox in that decade at all apart from the Get Along Gang.
Ps tea will be ready in about an hour

Star Trek in all it's flavours, but particularly DS9 and TOS.
Doctor Who, Torchwood, Primeval, Merlin, Robin Hood, Sarah-Jane Adventures, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Fringe, Heroes and Star Wars: The Clone Wars are my current faves.
going back to the 80s, i loved KR, A-Team, Airwolf, Street Hawk and Automan.
i also used to like Buffy and Angel.
i also like The Unit, but I've only watched S1 and S2 on DVD.

Stingray and Captain Scarlet are Anderson's finest. Thunderbirds suffers from a villain with a lack of clear motivation. 'ooo, i'm gunna steal the secrets of the Thunderbirds!!!' yeah? why?!

Wow, where to begin?
I'm a huge fan of the old ITC action shows made in the 60's and often repeated during school summer holidays in the 80's. DVD boxsets of THE SAINT with Roger Moore, THE CHAMPIONS, THE BARON, DEPARTMENT S and RANDALL & HOPKIRK DECEASED are all in my collection. Even the old 'historical' shows they did, like ROBIN HOOD and THE BUCANEERS made it onto my shelf.
I also love SPECIAL BRANCH, THE SWEENEY, THE PROFESSIONALS, DEMPSEY & MAKEPEACE, STRANGERS.... Too many to name them all really. Moving into the 80's I got hooked on THE A-TEAM and KNIGHT RIDER. I still like the former, but just can't get into KNIGHT RIDER now.
As for sci-fi: Anything made by Gerry Anderson, DOCTOR WHO (only the original), BLAKE'S 7 (brilliant!), BUCK ROGERS IN THE 25th CENTURY (mmmmmm, Wilma!), classic BSG.
Must also mention THE INVADERS. This show really should have a bigger following than it does. It was a superb series full of paranoia and genuine tension - Scared me as a kiddie too. The music, the atmosphere, the insidious plots of the aliens... Way ahead of it's time! I just bought the season 2 boxset and if anyone here has never seen it or has only vague recollections of it then the show comes HIGHLY recommended!
