Red Jackal

okay, hope you guys can dig this reimagining of Red Jackal. I'm posting him here just to get y'all's thoughts.

The influence of the Action Force character Red Jackal (a v1 Destro repaint in 1983/4) is supposedly why the Ultimate Battle Pack Destro looks the way he does, it was a conscious decision by Hasbro. But I wanted more that just a clone of Destro to have a scary ass name like that as long as I was putting him into my Joeverse... so I thought red chrome head might personify the name and seperate him from Destro at the same time. (the Red Skull similarity was unintentional, I didn't notice it till I took the pictures and now I'm proud of this bizarre reimagining of Red Jackal)

He's a first cousin of the Destro clan, lacking the honor that Destro is well known for, he's just sick. Many of the latest weapons by MARS are his own braichild ideas. He's also the lead strategist for the IG forces.

and I decided acknowledging his Red Shadows ties was a must:

I like those iron grenadiers, they would be a good start point for a next gen' red shadow.

the guy with red t-visor is one of my own characters, named Asterius. My buddy repainted a Cobra Parasite in a much more appropriate IG color scheme of red-black-gold so I made Asterius to drive it.

the guy in the goggles and Jin Roh-inspired black armor is my take on Metal-Head. I'm working on a totally new look for Darklon and an IG colored Wraith now too.

My Joeverse (henceforth it will be known by its unofficial nickname NFCverse) is a complicated quagmire of continuity and some very different happenings than in the canon mythos.

And it's always growing and expanding outward. And the older I get, the more varied the faces than make up NFCverse are changing.... Really, making Red Jackal on the fly a couple months ago just to acknowledge he exists in my 'verse has made me consider the idea that a couple of other Red Shadows characters might make interesting additions to the Iron Grenadiers. I mean they're both UK based international operations, right?

Looks brilliant! The red mask works very well indeed! It would be nice to see some single photos of close ups of the other customs, they look interesting too!
