I say make Black-Out however you like. His only Figure is a Spytroops figure which is okay but suffers from Monkey Arm, Huge Leg Syndrome. (Look up C.L.A.W.S. Commander for the pinnacle of the style). He is a bit too overdressed to be an effective sniper plus that Constipated/Dumb look on his face (Also see 25th Serpentor) ruins any possible fear he could induce.

All that Black out need's is a Black outfit with Gray/Silver Highlights, Blonde Hair, Night Vision Goggles and a Damn good Sniper Rifle. And Remember Black-Out is an Officer so silver Cobra Sigil not red and if you feel up to it a Plague Trooper Emblem on his Right upper arm. Good Luck on your Custom.

Yeah, Black Out isn't that great of a figure.
Are you keeping him a Cobra? :cobra: Then I would suggest using one of the new Resolute Cobra trooper bodies. The have a Cobra badge underneath their vests.
If he is a Red Shadow operative then go with the movie trooper figure. It has no Cobra badge. http://i.toynewsi.com/g/index.php?mode= ... 00&start=0

My Mistake. :-( I was thinking Night Watch symbol, Plague Troopers only symbol are the Black Cobra symbol in a gray Circle like your first photo shows. I doubt Plague troops will exist with IDW rebooting the series (Much to my dismay!). The only patch that Plague troopers could come close to wearing is this Special Ops badge

But thats a stretch as becoming a named Cobra operative makes you High ranking individual.

Let Me know if you need any further symbols.

got my recipe down,
snake eyes (v34) - body, upper arms, upper legs & night vision
snake eyes (v30) - lower legs
cobra commander (fred vii) lower arms
g.i. joe hawk - head
para viper - head & gun
wraith - armour

snake eyes body is perfect, same body as wraith so fits armour perfectly, changing lower legs so he has lace up boots.
cobra commanders lower arms are great, hate the original black out figures huge cobra armour but didnt wanna loose the armour altogether.
hawks head has a perfect, mean look on his face.
para vipers head is good for a stealthy night vision look, so we got an alternate head. im modding his tripod gun, fitting a scope to it to make it a snipers rifle, couldnt find anything else big enough!

will post him when im done.
