SAS MOC question

Hi Guys!

I have bought some SAS carded figures - Eagle, Quickfire, Barracuda and Chopper - to add to my fledgling loose collection. The plastic bubbles are yellow plastic and some (like Barracuda) have a tray insert supporting the figure. The punched peg hole is still attached on all 4, albeit bended back.

Are these likely to be remakes or originals??

(The Chopper bubble (main bubble) had a hole on it where it's cracked. There's no actual sun damage to the card at all and they are crisp, so I don't think the bubble colour is from UV light.

I remember seeing this the other day on some figures as I was putting them away, but seem to think that it was on StarWars figures. You mean like a support behind the figure?

I also have at least one with perforations along the bottom of the hanging hole, suggesting that Palitoy went through a stage of releasing some like that.

I have known bubbles to yellow but cards to be perfect. My Baron has done the same - bubblequite badly yellow, card is case fresh. Bizarre, I know, but I'd guess they are legit - just quirky!

I'll post pics tonight for people to see. Personally I love my little SAS dudes. I have tons of 25th style SAS, but there's something about the Plaitoy ones that are just brill - if you compare them to the Joes of the same vintage, the articulation isn't as good, but the sculpting is a lot better and holds up well to the new figures

Had a couple of SAS Pilots with yellowed bubbles and nice cards, never happened on the other forces though ??
