Well id just got my robocop cryochamber with easy to freeze canisters so I had to have a play!

if you use boiled water it should freeze clear

I did the same thing last year with a custom Ice Warrior - i ran the ice block under the hot tap and had a half emerged Ice Warior!!!!

Thats brilliant I used to do it all the time when I was a kid and then slowly melt them under a warm tap like I was freeing them haha

I'm colouring that sucker atm, and that's really inspiring. Cool job. Lol.

Did you forget the evacuation phase tho?
