Right-click on your desktop and hit Personalize (or Properties if using XP), then select Display Settings.
There is a sliding scale for adjusting your screen resolution, your current selection should be written beneath it.
My graphics card gives me 1280x 800 it must be for widesceen TV?

I'm happy with 1280x768, in w-i-d-e-screen.

Reason being is that the scans are all 1000 pixels wide, I want to know if I have any borders I can play with. I assume nobody wants the scans any smaller?
