Hey, I keep noticing this thing in my control panel; Friends Online and Enemies Online. I don't know what it is.

If it's some sort of spoof thing it make be a laugh to set up some forum rivalries.

yes, i've noticed you can have 'friends' and 'enemies' on some forums...

seems childish to me...


wait, i'm 30 years old, talking on a forum about a toyline from 28 years ago....childish is relative, yes?

"Friends enable you quick access to members you communicate with frequently. If the template has relevant support any posts made by a friend may be highlighted."

"Foes are users which will be ignored by default. Posts by these users will not be fully visible. Personal messages from foes are still permitted. Please note that you cannot ignore moderators or administrators."

I'd think twice about applying for that job - the advertiser seems unable to differentiate between "henchman" and "nemesis". With today's economic climate I can easily see the successful applicant being forced to carry out the work of two people...

Oh, and the "friends and foes" thing is a pile of dog-spunk, unless you're a 14 year old boy who conducts his entire social life via internet forums.

So how do I get it to work then?

Click on "User Control Panel"
Click on "Friends & Foes" in the bottom left corner
Click on "Manage Foes" in the bottom left corner
Type "AnnieM" into the "Add New Foes" box
Submit

Ooo - that is a bit harsh! We're all friends around here. Well, until you all steal my collection, then I shall utilise the feature, and create a totally empty forum, with tumbleweeds and all.
